My name is Ali Irmak Ozdagli, graduated from Civil Engineering Department of Purdue University with a Ph.D. degree in May 2015. Before that, I earned my Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Notre Dame. I have extensive knowledge on control design and linear/nonlinear structural dynamics. My current research focus is geographically distributed hybrid simulation, i.e. representation of large-scale systems using distributed cyber-physical frameworks. I also worked full-time at George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) headquarters aiding to earthquake engineering community. Currently, I am working as a Postdoc Fellow at University of New Mexico under mentorship of Dr Fernando Moreu. I am also teaching Engineering Statics in the Civil Engineering Department.
